We are doing our little back yard gardening thing again. As I am too lazy to mow my own yard, I am sure not digging up a real garden. We just have some little pots and troughs that we plant tomatoes and peppers in. We had pretty good luck in the past with cherry tomatoes and peppers (both jalapeno and bell type). This year we are trying once again to grow adult tomatoes. The picture above is our first tomato on the vine this year, I believe it is a beefsteak tomato. Hopefully we can get this to adulthood. I don’t know why I care since I don’t really eat tomatoes unless they come diced in a can or on a burger, but it is sort of a quest for me.
