This year was the first year that I followed American Idol at all.
Now I am someone who thinks the invention of the DVR is the greatest invention since Edison gave us the light bulb. That being said I record anything I watch regularly, start watching it later saving myself from watching commercials. I have gained the ability to fast forward and stop on the second the show starts up again.
So I watched 2 hours of the good, the bad and the ugly . The good being Smokey Robinson, the bad being Sanjaya and the ugly being Joe Perry of Aerosmith lowering his standards to play guitar for Sanjaya.
Boo on you FOX.

Being a Houston sports fan I know that there is always next year.
